Services, LLC provides engineering management for the successful transfer of high-level waste from single-shell tanks to double-shell tanks, using Hose-in-Hose Technology.
As of January 2005, twenty-four tanks had been pumped using hose-in-hose transfer
lines measuring more than one mile in length. |

NHC works at Hanford as an "inside the fence" contractor, operating within the rules of the Department of Energy (DOE)
and as an agent of DOE.
NHC offers best-in-class, crosscutting engineering and project
management services to Fluor Hanford, Inc. and
CH2M HILL Hanford Group, Inc., the two M&O contractors for the Hanford
Site. |
NHC has provided services to Fluor Hanford, Inc. (FH) since 1996. Our employees and
managers
• work with the prime contractor’s staff in
joint teams embedded in the projects
• share all of our contractor’s team objectives in terms of performance and safety.
NHC personnel are assigned to the Technology Management organization, to the Spent Nuclear Fuel project, and to the
Waste Management project.
